I am most passionate about the connections that I forge with my patients. The prospect of making a smile more beautiful and assisting individuals with their dental needs truly excites me. Within our practice, our goal is to create a fun, non-stressful appointment experience for everyone from the children to the adults – it’s a goal were dedicated to achieving. Witnessing the generations of patients that come through our doors is heartwarming and speaks to the wonderful relationships that we have developed over time.
Working with my patients is a source of deep fulfillment. Being able to help alleviate their anxieties about dental treatments and to create a more comfortable environment is something I am committed to achieving. The relationships that I’ve formed over nearly four decades as a dentist are invaluable to me. They make each day worthwhile.

Excellence in Education
I earned my BS degree in biology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1981. Continuing my passion for healthcare, I was accepted and enrolled at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. It was there that I dedicated myself to my studies in dentistry and earned my Doctor of Dental Science degree in 1985.
Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a deep commitment and love for continuing education. I’m genuinely excited about learning and staying updated on the ever-changing landscape of dental treatments. I firmly believe that there’s always more to learn in the realm of patient care, and by staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, I can offer my patients the best possible treatments and care.

Outside the Office
I am a true Nebraskan. I grew up in Papillion, Nebraska. Then moved to Lincoln to go to school, then moved back to Omaha, where I have lived for the last 38 years.
I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, David, for 42 years. We have one daughter, Holly. She also is a dentist who graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry in 2022. She is currently pursuing her studies in the Graduate Orthodontic Program at Marquette University. Her husband is a dentist, and they both graduated in the same dental class. He is a practicing dentist in Wisconsin. I have a passion for all animals, which has led to our lively household. Our home is filled with the pitter-patter of paws – two cats and two dogs.
When I’m not focused on my dental practice, you will often find me outdoors working in my flower gardens. I also enjoy playing golf with my friends or delving into various art projects.
I love to travel and experience things that I have not seen before. One of my goals is to visit every National Park in the United States. However, my most cherished moments are spent in the company of family and friends.

My commitment to my community extends beyond the dental office, as I find immense joy in giving back to the community that has supported me throughout my career. Whether it’s volunteering at local events, participating in health education initiatives, or contributing to charitable organizations, I’m dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those around me. Additionally, my involvement at my church holds a special place in my heart. I actively engage in various activities and initiatives, using my skills and passion to contribute to the well-being of my fellow community members. Serving both through my profession and within my church community allows me to fulfill my purpose of making a difference in the lives of others.
